Nominations Open
Nominations are open to all educators and support professionals associated with Centres, Long Day Cares, Kindergartens, Outside School Hours Care Centres and Family Day Care Services
Conditions of Nominations:
Nominations Close: Friday 1st of August 2025
All Nominations are to be submitted via Email with evidence to support the nomination attached where relevant
All Nominees receive a certificate of Nomination so please ensure you have included the name and contact email of the person, or team you are nominating
Unless Specified, Nominations are awarded to teams/centres
Nominations are Judged on the categories of: Quality as described under the NQS, Impact on others: children, team and community as well as Evidence supplied
For the best chance of success, please ensure your nomination is supported by evidence in the form of photographs, video, samples of work, testimonies or other relevant evidence
Finalists will be announced on Social Media, the website and via email by Monday the 11th of August
Nominations are free, attendance at the event ceremony is ticketed
Winners announced at the Gala Event on the 30th of August 2025
Winners who are not represented at the event will have their award posted, following the award ceremony
Winners will receive a Framed Certificate and trophy. (Additional prizes may be allocated to winners and/or runner-ups depending on nominations and event revenue)
Inclusion Support Superstar
For the individual or team that contributes significantly to the inclusion of all
Star Student Award
A Trainee or Studying Towards Teacher who excels in their learning, skills or commitment to the Early Learning Profession
Service Support Choice Award
For the Centre support service that enables, empowers or improves outcomes for centres
This award is open to individuals or groups
Nominations include but not limited to: Food or Incursion Providers, Cleaning Professionals, Legal or IT support services
Birth to 2
In recognition of the team or learning space that has demonstrated creativity, innovation, high expectations of children and sustainable practices in offering rich learning environments for children from birth up to and including children 2 years of age
Two to Four
In recognition of the team or learning space that has demonstrated creativity, innovation, high expectations of children and sustainable practices in offering rich learning environments for children from 3 up to and including children 5 years of age
Kindergarten Award
In recognition of the team or learning space that has demonstrated creativity, innovation, high expectations of children and sustainable practices in offering rich learning environments and/or experiences in Kindergarten Funded Programs
Family Day Care Award
In recognition of the team or learning space that has demonstrated creativity, innovation, high expectations of children and sustainable practices in offering rich learning experiences in a home environment
Outside School Hours Care Award
In recognition of the team or learning space that has demonstrated creativity, innovation, high expectations of children and sustainable practices in offering rich learning environments and/or experiences in OSHC settings
Making a Difference
This award recognising the induvial efforts of professionals who have made a change of significance to a child, family, centre or community in the field of Early Childhood
Reconciliation Award
For a centre, group or individual who has demonstrated a commitment to Reconciliation, and has lead to increased engagement in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Culture
